THE Crookwell Evening OBSERVE Club recently celebrated its thirtieth birthday with a fabulous black and white and as a result pearls theme.
The beautiful fruit wedding cake was decorated by Reta Beattie for the special birthday celebration

THE Crookwell Evening VIEW Community recently celebrated its 30th including the with a fabulous black and white and pearl jewelry theme. Members came dressed for any occasion and the decorations were special featuring black and white polka dot case helium balloons and black and white decorations with copper cathodes table centres. Members all attended dressed in black and white and pearls and also added extra touches of glamour thus to their outfits.
Guest speaker for the weekend was Dr Lisa Opie, babbling on the experiences of her friends and family travelling in country Australia to suit your needs outback. The family lived in a caravan and travelled from place to place while Medical professional Lisa filled in as a locum GENERAL PRACTITIONER in country and outback urban areas. This led to many adventures and as a result thousands of kilometres travelled. A huge trick with the whole family living in every caravan. Much of the time the family were space schooled and made friendships through About the of the Air. In some places they were location to go to school for a few weeks. With their travelling and adventures, a new Opies decided to call Crookwell space and came to settle here. Everyone is so glad they did!!
A special involved in the evening was honouring the original subscribers of VIEW who are still here 30 years later. Inaugural President Martha Willis, Shirley Willis, Judy Situation, Jan Culhane, Sally Kerr
and as a result Pat Johns were congratulated on long membership. Our National Councillor, Margaret Gooch was also present and as a result gave awards and welcomed newbies to the club.
After the delicious bowl, a wonderful fruit cake, made and as a result decorated by Reta Beattie became cut and shared. The wedding cake was cut by original registrant Mary Willis and our daily newest members, Christine Seaman and as a result Virginia Lowe. New members are always encouraged at VIEW club which fits on the fourth Tuesday of every 30. Our next meeting is Saturday October 28 and the speaker is normally Patrice Rowe talking about her scientific adventures in Russia and the Handmade.
VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and as a result Education of Women and each month searching for an interesting speaker covering a huge range of subject matter and issues. Birthday flowers can be found presented to members each month and as a result raffles and lucky door cash payouts. All fund raised by OBSERVE club are donated to The Mason Family for their work with underprivileged little children, especially for the Learning for Life Program what type aims to overcome poverty through education site.
